Brooke Merrill, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Brooke Merrill, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with a strong passion for helping others on their path toward healing. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in nursing, she worked for several years in the emergency department and operating room. While working in these positions, she realized her strong desire to be more involved in the ongoing, personal care of the mental health of her clients. As a result, she pursued an advanced degree specializing in psychiatry and mental health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Brooke practices general psychiatry and treats clients 6 years and older at Alliance Behavioral Psychiatry in the Orem office, as well as through telepsychiatry. She is trained to diagnose and treat those experiencing disruption in their lives due to underlying psychiatric disorders or adverse life events and stressors. She strongly believes in focusing on her client’s strengths and employing a holistic, individualized approach in her treatment. Brooke especially enjoys working with women, children, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. 

When not working, Brooke spends her time reading anything she can get her hands on, skiing/falling down Utah’s beautiful mountains, traveling with her husband, and having living room dance parties with her three daughters.
