Mekenzie graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Weber State University. She worked as an RN in labor and delivery for several years and then returned to school at the University of Utah, where she earned her master’s degree. She is currently licensed and certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
Mekenzie’s approach includes education to help people make informed decisions about medications and mental health treatment and, most importantly, forming a genuine and trustworthy relationship.
Mekenzie practices general psychiatry and sees patients as young as 16 years old. She specializes in diagnosing and treating depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, sleep disorders, and other psychiatric illnesses.
